E006 OZONE CELL CONTAMINATION PROBLEM

The ozone cell exhibits abnormal power consumption due to either poor gas quality, ozone cell contamination or electronic issue. Continuing to operate the ozone generator may cause damage requiring repair not covered under warranty.  If you are 100% confident that gas quality is as recommended, that there is no ozone cell contamination or electrical damage, you may proceed to push the reset button to continue operation.

troubleshooting guide

  • Turn Off the Ozone Generator:

Upon detecting contamination in the ozone cell, the first step is to turn off the ozone generator to prevent further damage.

  • Identify and eliminated the Source of Contamination:

Thoroughly examine the system and protocols to pinpoint the source of contamination. This may involve checking for the presence of water or other conductive liquids that may have inadvertently reached the ozone cell. Verify the proper functioning of flood prevention devices and check valves within the injection system. Additionally, ensure that the quality of the oxygen source meets specifications and that the filter is effectively operational. Once the contamination source is identified, promptly take action to eliminate it.

  • Posterior Cleaning Procedure in the Ozone Cell:

With the ozone generator turned off, connect an oxygen source and allow it to flow through the ozone cell for several days. This will help dry any residual liquid and remove remaining contaminants.

  • Restart the Ozone Generator:

Once the ventilation period has passed and you’re confident the ozone cell is completely dry, turn the ozone generator back on and observe if the problem persists.

  • Continuous Monitoring:

After restarting the ozone generator, continuously monitor its operation to ensure there are no recurring issues. If the problem persists, you may need to seek additional technical assistance.

  • Preventive maintenance

To prevent ozone system contaminations, ensure regular preventive maintenance on flow prevention devices and check valves and filters. Follow protocols when turning generators on and off.
